Employing people is becoming increasingly challenging and requires specific knowledge about many current and emerging situations. Sourcing foreign human resources; data protection rights; social media within the workplace are amongst the many issues that are being faced by companies in their engagement with their employees, thus adding to the complexity of the employer/employee relationship.

The Malta Employers’ Association is organising this course to address these matters concretely through the involvement of professionals who are specialised in their respective fields. It will consist of focused sessions during which participants will engage with the trainers to relate the contents of the lectures with their own context and experiences. This course is thus aimed at HR practitioners, employers and persons who are responsible for the HR function within micro organisations who want to keep abreast with the most recent legislation.

Malta Employers' Association is pleased to introduce a new practitioner-led workshop titled:

    Reducing Labour Turnover Through ESG

Labour turnover remains one of the most persistent and costly challenges faced by employers, as you told us in recent surveys and focus groups we organised.

This workshop explores how organisations can address retention through practical Environmental, Social and Governance strategies that create stronger workplaces and better employee experiences.

Grounded in three years of direct implementation experience, the workshop is based on an approach that contributed to an approximate 50% reduction in employee turnover over that period.

Participants will gain practical insight into:

    • The link between ESG strategy and employee retention
    • Which ESG actions have the strongest impact on workforce stability
    • How to build a credible and visible ESG roadmap
    • Measuring people-related outcomes from ESG investment
    • Communicating commitments internally to build trust and loyalty

The workshop is ideal for HR leaders, executives, business owners, ESG professionals and managers responsible for people strategy.
